IFA is currently underway in Berlin, and manufacturers around the world have begun to unveil their fall lineups of laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Unique and innovative Windows 8 PCs are the main focus, but Samsung also took the opportunity to announce the Galaxy Note II and the ATIV S. Paul has a great guide on how to repair the most common HTC EVO 4G hardware problems. Of course, sometimes you just need to update the software. HTC has released the source code for the HTC EVO 3D Ice Cream Sandwich kernel, and a new site aims to have all of the HTC ROM Update Utilities in one easy-to-find place.
