Black HTC One S variant coming soon to T-Mobile

one s black t mobile - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

In case you’re not digging the current color of the HTC One S on T-Mobile, you’re about to get another choice: black. According to an internal leaked T-Mobile document, a black variant of the phone will launch on November 7. Apparently, it won’t be available in stores, but rather on the web, through telesales, through customer care, and through business sales. Interested T-Mobile employees will also be able to pick up the device for themselves at the same time.

There’s no word yet on pricing, but I’m sure it will be the same as the current blue/gray option. Of course, in light of recent releases and announcements, this device will have some stiff competition. While I would have recommended this a few months ago – heck, even a few weeks ago – I’d be hesitant to do so now, especially after seeing the LG Nexus 4. The Samsung Galaxy Note II is also one mighty fine looking device.

This is not even to mention the fact that the One S is still on Ice Cream Sandwich, and we don’t know when the Jelly Bean update is coming (although we’re confident it’s on the way).

In any case, this is still a decent phone with decent specs, and I can only hope T-Mobile will lower the price to sweeten the deal even more.
