Team NoName’s D67MOD custom recovery now available for HTC EVO 4G

D67MOD recovery - for some reason we don't have an alt tag hereD67MOD Recovery is a custom recovery for the original HTC EVO 4G based on the Amon Ra and SmelkusMod recoveries.

Besides custom pictures, the recovery supports installing SuperSU and Superuser, or installing an unguarded engineering superuser, among other options in the development menu. (Unfortunately, it’s been so long since I’ve been in the developer menu of a Ra-based recovery, I don’t know when, or if, those options ever appeared before, so these might be old features carried forward.)

The wipe menu also includes multiple “superwipe” options – whatever side of the fence you’re on with those, they’re there and available if you feel the need to repeat the operations on digital media.

As of this writing, there are currently two versions of D67MOD available; the main differences between them are the themes: either skulls and crossbones, or she-devils. There are more versions expected to appear shortly, and the author seems to be taking requests.

As for performance, it seems to perform exactly the same as any other Ra-based recovery, and ADB shell support still does not appear to include SU access from within recovery, which is one thing I’ll give TWRP and the like major credit for. It would be nice to see that functionality here.

D67MOD will require an S-OFF EVO or an unlocked bootloader in order to install, and it is a simple PC36IMG install via the bootloader.
