nexus2cee_Screenshot_2014-10-21-05-21-37-351x625The HTC One M8 on T-Mobile is currently getting an OTA update to Android 4.4.4, which also includes the “Eye” experience. The software version itself is being bumped up to 3.32.531.2, and the update file weighs in at a hefty 255.63MB.

Here’s the official update explanation, as it appears when being prompted to update:

HTC is committed to updating our flagship HTC One family as fast as possible as part of our HTC Advantage program which ensures you have the best smartphone experience long after purchase.

Please download this update to enjoy the latest HTC Eye Experience and Android KitKat 4.4.4.

The HTC EYE experience (sic) provides innovate enhancements to taking photos and videos. Here are some of the features you’ll enjoy:

Face Tracking: Track up to 4 faces during a video chat, and ensure that they stay within the camera’s angle of view.

Split Capture: Record the action in front of you and yourself at the same time. Or, record the action first and then record a commentary.

Face Fusion: Using 2 photos such as your selfie and a photo of your favorite celebrity, try merging your looks together.

Voice Selfie: Take a picture or video selfie by just saying “Cheese” or “Action”.

Live Makeup: Smoothen your skin before taking your selfie.

Photo Booth: Take 4 selfies and merge them into a single picture.

Overall, it seems like a pretty worthy update – be sure to let us know how you like it!
