Chromecast now supports HBO Now, Food Network, and more

N6_TVIt certainly took the Chromecast long enough to get HBO Go support. And as soon as that happened, HBO turned around and introduced another streaming service for those who don’t subscribe to the network through their satellite or cable providers: HBO Now. Luckily, the company didn’t take quite as long this time to incorporate Chromecast support, as Google just announced this morning that HBO Now subscribers can indeed use the Chromecast to stream content from this service.

This is in addition to several other new services available for the Chromecast, as well, including:

  • “Watch Food Network” and “Watch Travel Channel” apps, including Cutthroat Kitchen, Beat Bobby Flay, and Hotel Impossible
  • Pixlr photo editor
  • Pokemon TV
  • FitFlap
  • Catch Phrase Blitz

The Chromecast’s app selection just keeps getting better and better, with games, streaming, and even a photo editor. (I can’t wait to get home to see how Pixlr will work!)
