PSA: Avoid iOS 10.1.1 upgrade for now.
There are multiple reports that iOS 10.1.1 is breaking the “Phone App,” across at least the 7, 6s, and 5s, and causing issues on other models. It appears that neither rebooting nor factory reseting fixes this problem. So 10.1.1 apparently makes your iPhone or very expensive iTouch….. for now.
Though we can’t personally verify this specific issue, one editor is reporting a separate problem with 10.1.1. His phone is stuck because it is unsure/unable to upgrade 10.1.1 (14b100) because the phone says there’s no update but iTunes claims 10.1.1 (14b150) is available. It appears multiple builds exist with the same version number currently.
