And you thought getting a “1/1” text from your Handset Manufacturer was bad… Nope Breach!

Following up on Paul’s Post about the “1/1” text you received on your Samsung Devices about “Find My Mobile”, you may have thought it was creepy, you may have thought, who is trying to find my phone?
Were you feeling lucky?

Well, no you weren’t lucky, according to The Register:

Samsung has admitted that what it calls a “small number” of users could indeed read other people’s personal data following last week’s unexplained Find my Mobile notification.

So there you have it, Samsung suffered a data breach due to their dodgy programming, so don’t worry about the world wide text push, nothing to see here, unless you want to unlock your bootloader and flash a third-party ROM like, LineageOS, not that I would ever recommend such a thing… you hackers with your ROMs, and your Discord, and your Linux.
