iPhone app lets you track your movement like many game apps and your carrier do
Syndesy is an iphone app that allows you to check in to places privately, and in the event you get Covid-19 or the next pandemic virus you can easily backtrack and let everyone you’ve been around know they’ve potentially been exposed.
The original purposes of this app … I’m believing may have been more along the dating lines and making sure you’re not kidnapped, but found a new purpose in self tracking during the pandemic.
Overall it’s a pretty interesting concept, appears to be done on Android by Google Maps timeline combined with long or multi pressing a power button.
Could be useful. Based on the usage scenarios looks like it’s a pretty useful tool if you plan to get into trouble, infected, or feel you have to journal every moment for an overly suspicious/abusive relationship.
If you’re needing to self track for any reason check it out. Also if you’re venturing out in the time of Covid-19, mask up, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, and take it seriously.
