Minor Plex server bug appears post upgrade asking Plex Pass holders to upgrade to premium
I’ve tossed a bug report in, but figured I’d let people know that in the latest update to the Plex Media Server on Windows you might get prompted to “upgrade to premium.” This should probably only show to non Plex Pass holders, but as a lifetimer here seeing that was concerning.
Navigating around seemed to clear the message and make it realize I was Plex Pass again. Twitter reports tend to indicate I was not alone. Nothing to be worried about most likely and seemed to clear itself. Could be time-related / central server as well. Who knows.
Also I would like to point out there’s a house flipped on its side in the Plex logo and as their slogan isn’t “flipping your house on its side” I just thought it should be pointed out… at every opportunity… missed marketing opportunity… plex.. the media house flippers.
