Google’s typhoon warning this morning probably nothing

If you are in the United States or thereabouts, and asked your Google Assistant what the weather was like this morning you might have gotten a notice that you were under a typhoon warning. Not sure how widespread this was but I am seeing Canada, US, and Brazil twitter peeps talking about it.

As I just got through a tornado, 78mph straight line winds, and a week from hell this seemed about right.

The only typhoon on the planet appeared to be about 8000 miles from me, and that’s where the warning evidently originated.

Tennessee, being a landlocked state on the wrong side of the planet for typhoons, pretty sure we’ve never had a typhoon warning. But yeah. Google’s got some range and bounding issues on weather warnings it appears.
