Sony mylo preview

I don’t know about other online retailers, but Amazon has started shipping out the new Sony myloir?t=pocketables 20&l=ur2&o=1 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here personal communicator. I preordered mine several weeks ago and got it so recently that I haven’t even charged the battery.

Myloopen

I’ll be familiarizing myself with the mylo for the next week or so before I write up a full review, which will actually be posted at Anything But iPod. (You may remember from an earlier post that in addition to running this site, I write news posts there.)

In the meantime, check out a few more pictures below.

The mylo is also available in black, which I probably would’ve chosen if this white one wasn’t equipped with such a lusciously orange keyboard. Not only does it complement the  button in the middle of the 4-way controller, but it even matches the packaging.

Mylobox

The start-up guide and software CD are orange, too, in case you were wondering.

Myloclosed

I’m so impressed by the cases that Sony has lately been including with their gadgets. It used to be that their definition of “case” was a pathetic-looking, oversized drawstring pouch. The UX180P is bundled with a fantastic one, and the mylo definitely follows suit.

Mylocase

Mylocase2

It’s the same material and general design as the PSP pouch, which I’ve never had any complaints about.

Check back later for a link to the full review.
