The M-Buzz about Sony Ericsson

Mbuzz Sony Ericsson announced yesterday the upcoming launch of its M-Buzz mobile media download service. Created primarily (and at the moment, exclusively) for use with cell phones, M-Buzz will soon offer full-length songs, videos, tour dates, and other content selected from Sony/ATV’s roster (mainly up-and-comers and new, unknown artists) for a currently undisclosed per-download fee. I don’t know about the other stuff, but music will be available from Sony Ericsson’s PlayNow service and from a dedicated website set to go live on October 2.

The first devices compatible with M-Buzz will be the new (and quite lovely, if I do say so myself) Walkman phones, the W850 and W950, which are set to hit the Asian, European, and Latin American markets later this year.
