Treo 680 hits Cingular on November 5

Treo680cingularRemember all the back and forth between Palm and the carriers that wanted to add the upcoming Treo 680 to their offerings? No problem if you don’t because it’s over now. At least partially.

CrunchGear is reporting that the new smartphone will hit Cingular stores this Sunday for $175 with a 2-year unlimited data plan ($40/month, or $960 for 2 years). Mobility Today confirms the information and adds a few more price points gleaned from a Cingular PowerPoint presentation: $250 with 1-year unlimited data plan, $275 with 2-year contract, $350 with 1-year contract, $425 with no plan/contract.

Alternatively, if you can live with a Treo 650, 700p, 700w, or a BlackBerry instead, why not save a few hundred dollars and enter this contest to win a smartphone for free?
