I mentioned yesterday that the online Apple store would be having a Black Friday sale today. If you woke up late (as I did) and weren’t able to punch in the URL in time, you may have been greeted with this message.
But don’t let this get you down. Amazon is offering most of the same discounted prices today as well. In the realm of pocketable items, the 60GB iPod is selling for $228, 80GB for $318, 2GB Nano for $138, and 8GB Nano for $228. Amazon doesn’t charge tax or shipping/handling either, so Apple’s temporary shutdown may actually be a good thing.
