DS Lite cases for the street

Pacific Design recently expanded its DS Lite line of canvas and denim cases to attract both girly gamers and street punks.

The street case ($9.85) comes in floral pink, pink camo, skull and crossbones, and green camo designs and holds the handheld and two games. To drive home the gender-specific designs, the company includes a wristlet for the girl cases and a carabiner for the boy ones. The street pack ($17.95), on the other hand, ships with leather-looking wrist straps regardless of the design (pink and blue cross-stitch, skulls on denim, and faded green camo). It features a genuine leather base, two zippered compartments, magnetic closure, four dedicated game slots, and room for the DS Lite, AC adapter, and earbuds.

I usually prefer official cases to third-party ones, but these look pretty good. I wonder if they’re big enough to hold my aging DS, whose airfoam case is actually in need of some company.
