Samsung SCH-B550 for chatty gamers

Samsung_schb550 Take a look at this new hybrid cell phone/video game system from Samsung.

The SCH-B550, available exclusively in Korea (surprise!), supports 3D graphics and features a standard game-control layout: d-pad on the left, action buttons on the right. It can even be hooked up to a TV. How the games are stored (expansion card, internal memory) and exactly what kinds of titles can be played are just some of the details Samsung has yet to reveal.

Other than the extreme focus on gaming, the SCH-B550’s feature set is just like any other cell phone in Korea these days. Bluetooth, DMB TV tuner, two-megapixel camera, MP3 support . . . you name it, it’s got it.

Pricing and availability in other parts of the world are unknown.
