Concept UMPCs don't belong at CES

Why? Because they’re boring.

One of the devices I was most looking forward to hearing about at CES this year was the Yahoo/Intel UMPC. After showing the swiveling keyboard and 5" screened handtop as a reference design at several developer forums last year, Intel arrived in Las Vegas this week lugging the same old concept unit behind them.

Is that a collective snore I hear?
