Samsung i760 spotted at CES Unveiled

Samsung_i760This is the first horizontal QWERTY smartphone I’ve seen that I actually wanted. The LG enV didn’t turn me green (not in a good way, anyway) and the HTC Libra didn’t make me cast a scornful look at my Black Tie Treo. But this upcoming Samsung SCH-i760 has me fending off little green monsters and looking for my Treo box and eBay account info.

Not to be confused with the Samsung phone that bears a similar model number, this lovely piece of Windows Mobile Crossbow goodness includes 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, 1.3-megapixel camera, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, microSD slot, and EV-DO connectivity. Showcased and promptly manhandled at the CES Unveiled press event last night, the i760 can expect lots of groping when CES officially kicks off on Monday.

More as it develops.
