Sony bumps MS PRO Duo to 8GB

Great news for Sony gadget hounds. The company announced today that an 8GB version of its proprietary Memory Stick PRO Duo card will be available next month.

Barely audible through the cheers from PSP, Cyber-shot, mylo, UX Micro PC, and new Handycam owners/fans was the quick (and painful) word on price: $300. And just so you know, 4GB cards are running between $85 and $120 on Amazon right now.
