Nokia E90 Communicator priced at $1K

Nokia_e90 The Nokia E90 Communicator, whose hand-drawn sketch first appeared in October 2006, has arrived!

Much has already been leaked about the device, including what it would look like if you ran past it, so there weren’t too many surprises coming out of Barcelona today. As expected, then, the clamshell S60 phone has HSDPA, Wi-Fi, EDGE/GPRS, 3.2-megapixel camera, 4-inch (800 x 352) internal display, integrated GPS (mild surprise), Bluetooth, and micro SD expansion slot.

A Nokia executive told the International Herald Tribune that the E90 will be available in Q3 of this year for $975 to $1,040 without a contract.

The press conference is still going on right now, so it won’t be long before some high-res product shots and full specs are released. Already there’s an ad for it.
