Preorder HTC Advantage for £495
That’s about $962.
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s HTC Advantage announcement, UK-based Clove Technology is already accepting preorders for the Mobile PC Communicator. Thing is, they don’t really know how much it costs.
Above the product description is this (original boldface and all-caps removed because I’m neither angry nor screaming at you): "Price of the HTC Advantage/X7500/Athena to be confirmed . . . all customers will be contacted with official price (when available)."
Exactly where they pulled the £495 figure from is anyone’s guess, but considering that the Advantage’s counterparts have been priced at $650 (subsidized) and $1200 (unsubsidized), it’s likely to be pretty accurate. Whatever it costs, Clove is expecting the first shipment in April.
