First official images of Samsung Q1 Ultra

Q1ultra_exhibitThere’s a still a few hours to go before the official unveiling of the Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC, but the Samsung Exhibition website already has some lovely images up. They’re hidden under the laser printer picture shown in the "Exhibition Highlight" box at the bottom left. Clicking it launches a microsite that requires some patience to sit through (I’m not a fan of "live typing" ads), but after that it isn’t difficult to find the Q1 Ultra section.

I’m assuming that the text portion will be fleshed out after the press conference because right now it’s just a lot of eye candy. The accompanying text is generic, uninformative, and very rough:

"For people who are always on-the-go, redesigned and enhanced Q1 Ultra, from the world’s first Ultra Mobile PC company, Samsung, is a perfect solution to have the freedom to work everywhere at anytime"

There’s also some kind of weird "link scrap" button at the bottom that I hope will be removed soon. Other than all that, the images are really nice.

UPDATE 03/15: It’s now five hours later and the press conference has been over for about an hour. Still no press release or any other images anywhere, not even on the CeBIT Highlights page (where it seems logical to appear first).
