FlipStart announces arrival of mobile revolution
Nine days after it became common knowledge, the FlipStart landed in my inbox with the subject line "The mobile revolution has arrived – get ready to Flip…"
When the company website was revamped in January, the little teaser ad promised that you’d "be the first to know" if you coughed up your email address. So I did. And I wasn’t.
Even if this kind of marketing is on par with delaying a product for three years, I still think it’s pretty irresponsible. Whoever was in charge of hitting that "send" button needs a less challenging job.
