I think a number of folks hoped and/or expected the Vega II to be at CeBIT last week, perhaps more so after Digital Cube’s i-station G43, the self-proclaimed "smallest UMPC in the world," got so much coverage. Too bad most of it was inaccurate. Yes, all that talk about a 500MHz LX800/900 CPU, 4.3-inch display, and 30GB/60GB hard drive—even all the images (merely a modified NetForce): far from being set in stone. Still, you see a brick-like UMPC with an AMD Geode CPU, 4.3-inch screen, and Windows XP, you think of the Raon Digital Vega. Then you hear about integrated wi-fi and Bluetooth and think about the Vega II.
At least I do.
