Sidekick ID designed for toddlers

Sidekick_idSomething has gone terribly awry. Even though the upcoming Sidekick ID is obviously the offspring of a sordid affair between Hasbro, Mattel, and Crayola, it’s T-Mobile and Danger who are claiming parentage.

The barebones device (no Bluetooth, camera, MP3 support, or expansion slot) wasn’t this hideous at CTIA the other day, so it’s possible that these CMYK-inspired phones are just part of a larger, better-looking collection. Either way, the Sidekick ID should be launching on April 18 for just $100 after mailing in the $50 rebate form that, ironically, is the culprit behind leaking this first official press shot.
