Samsung will launch Q1 Ultra this week

Q1ultralaunchI’m not sure how much of a surprise this is in light of all the support materials being made available last week, but according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC (NP-Q1U) will launch this week with a starting price of $1199 but possibly without the previously reported HSDPA connectivity. I say "possibly" because the 60GB 800MHz unit is expected to be joined by another model sporting a 32GB solid-state drive and a "high-speed wireless cellular radio" (implying that the device launched this week won’t have it, right?) by summer’s end.

In any case, I’m guessing that other configurations will be rolled out at some point because I’m sure that not everyone will want to pay more for a smaller hard drive (albeit one with no moving parts and faster boot times) just to get HSDPA.
