HTC Omni rendering looks good (and familiar)

Htc_omni_render

Unwired View recently got ahold of a "genuine HTC 2007 roadmap presentation" that includes the first computer rendering of the HTC Omni, the Universal successor that began treading on the rumor mill last year. Most of the specs that accompany the images are in keeping with the first leaked set that surfaced in January; the only new bits are Windows Mobile 6.0, TV- and VGA-out, microSD slot, 256MB ROM, and built-in GPS. Well, okay, so the word "only" is poorly chosen.

When launched in October, the Omni will measure 5.11" x 3.19" x 0.63", making it similar in size to what its design immediately brought to mind: the iriver D26 (proof that imagination pays off).
