Sony Style Japan: Buy one mylo, get one free

2for1_myloIn what is likely an effort to get rid of old stock, Sony Style Japan has recently begun selling two mylo personal communicators for the price of one.

The campaign, called "Our Lives Online" (a play on the original "my life online" acronym), launched earlier this month with 500 pairs of mylos available in black/black, black/white, and white/white combinations for 39,800 yen (about $336). Today, nearly three weeks after the introduction of the special offer, the Linux devices are still not sold out. I don’t know how many duos have been sold so far, but the campaign is set to run until all 500 are gone.

Sony is obviously quite keen on reducing their mylo supply (they were giving them away as Vaio TX bonuses a few months ago), which is either confirmation that the arrival of the mylo 2 is imminent or that the device is being ditched for good.
