Kohjinsha SH8 UMPC gets Intel A110 CPU

Kohjinsha_sh8

Kohjinsha recently added the SH8 series to its line of 7-inch convertible UMPCs. In addition to boasting a generous 120GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, and a OneSeg TV tuner, the black and white models run Vista Home Premium on Intel’s 800MHz A110 chip, the peppier of the two CPUs that make up part of the Ultra Mobile Platform 2007.

Like the SH6 units that house the 600MHz A100 processor, the new SH8s are available with or without Office Personal 2007 and bear ridiculous names like SH8KP12FDS14 and SH8WP12ADS12. Prices start at 129,800 yen (about $1,125), with accessories like a stand and cradle available bundled or separately.
