Official leather case for Fujitsu LifeBook UMPC

Fujitsu_umpc_caseNow that the Fuijtsu LifeBook U series has gotten a colorful makeover, it’s only natural that it would get a new wardrobe too.

GeekStuff4U.com is currently selling what appears to be the only official leather case available for the mini notebook at a very specific price of $118.08, not including shipping. I can’t tell for sure, but it looks like it’s been designed to enable in-case use of the UMPC, as the mesh areas on the back are presumably there for ventilation purposes. The cross-stitching is shown in both white and red (below), but the product page doesn’t mention which one is being sold.

It’s no secret around here that I love gadget cases, but this looks kind of weird to me. Fujitsu already has a second chance to design something nicer, though, because the newly announced HSDPA-equipped model probably won’t fit into this one very well.
