Samsung SCH-i760 gets official

Samsung_i760_vzwNine months after it was accidentally disclosed, the Samsung SCH-i760 smartphone is finally officially on its way to Verizon Wireless for $349.99, after $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract signed in blood.

Available online tomorrow and in stores on November 2, the device is still the same as ever: Windows Mobile 6 Professional (that’s the Pocket PC Phone Edition if you’re still resisting Microsoft’s retirement of the old terms in favor of the more general "smartphone" and "PDA"), stereo Bluetooth, slider keyboard, 2.8-inch touchscreen, and 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and recording capabilities. My personal interest in the Samsung Robin (as it was once called) has all but completely fizzled, mostly because of my HTC Advantage X7501 and iPhone, but I’m still happy to finally hear about its arrival.
