FCC reveals Sony mylo 2 with camera

Mylo2_fcc

A recent FCC filing for the long-rumored Sony mylo 2 personal communicator has just given credence to the mock-up image (above right) that made an appearance here a few months ago and still seems to be slated for a possible January 2008 launch. The filing, which Electronista says was submitted in October (the same month the image surfaced), doesn’t confirm previous speculation of PSP software integration or a partnership with Sprint, but there is evidence of an integrated camera with macro mode and 802.11g wi-fi in the document and corresponding sketch.

With the original mylo on my desk, CES 2008 just weeks away, and a confirmed spot at a Sony press event that was previously called "The Technology of Tiny Things," I’m definitely not done with the mylo 2 yet.
