Kohjinsha SR8 rebadged as Vye Mini-V S41
Even though news of the Kohjinsha SR8 and its built-in optical drive is actually three months old, at least it’s reappearing in headlines today with a bit of new information.
WindowsForDevices makes up for reintroducing the old information by revealing that Vye Computers will bring the SR8 to the US as the Vye Mini-V S41. Actually, most sites are incorrectly referring to the S37, the SH6-equivalent; they also think the SR8 is brand new, though, so go figure.
The 80GB Mini-V S41 is slated for a late-April release and will be priced at $1499. Yeah, it’s not even trying to play with the Eee PC kids.
