USI MID-160 is world's thinnest Atom MID to date

This Halloween, Steve Paine and I have decided to dress up as each other and see what turns up in our trick-or-treat bags. We’ve already begun practicing, too, as we both knocked on USI’s door after reading about the "thin MID" the company showed off at IDF this week. I’m not sure who opened the door for Steve, but a fellow in charge of USI marketing answered when I knocked and dropped the same three goodies into my bag that Steve got in his: two enormous images (2560 x 1440 and 2300 x 1437) of the Atom-powered slate and a press release. Our costumes must be really good!

Having already been seen with three different MIDs earlier this year (MID-100, MID-150, and MID-200), USI is definitely not a new name in the Intel MID market. Its newest creation, the "thinnest Intel Atom processor-based MID launched to-date in the world," is the MID-160 you see here and I must say that it is looking quite fine. 

USI told me that pricing and availability still need to be worked out internally but that the following specs are ready for public consumption:
