Windows XP drivers and install guide now available for Kohjinsha SC3

Kohji_xp_conicsSure, the Kohjinsha SC3 mini convertible UMPC can now be purchased with Windows XP, but what if you already have one with Vista?

If you have a copy of XP Home, Professional, or Tablet sitting around somewhere (or you know where to find it), you can install the trimmer operating system yourself now that Conics.net has put out not just the necessary drivers, applications, and BIOS required to get things running, but a quick and easy installation guide on how to do it as well.

I’m one of the few people in the world who actually prefers Vista and doesn’t have a problem with its performance on the Intel Atom Z520, so my SC3 is safe from being wiped clean. If listen very carefully, though, I can hear the soft cries of other units who aren’t as lucky (or according to those who think downgrading to XP is really an upgrade, perhaps more lucky).
