OQO Model 2+ and BenQ S6 on the way for MID Moves
The MID Moves tour kicks off in less than a week and Steve from UMPCPortal, mastermind behind the tour, has recently shared the list of devices we'll be using in our travels.
The OQO Model 2+ that was awarded the Editor's Choice Award by Popular Mechanics and the BenQ S6 MID that was released in Italy last fall both got tagged with my name and should be here just in time to be packed up for my flight this weekend (see tour plans). I didn't know this until today but evidently, Steve implanted a tiny chip into my brain during our last Skype call in order to have constant access to my thoughts; when I first saw the list of devices last week, these were the two I hoped I would get.
I thoroughly enjoyed last year's OQO Model 02 (review), so I have high hopes for the 2+, which I don't think will let me down with its touchscreen, better processor, OLED display, and longer battery life. I'm looking forward to the BenQ S6 as well, particularly because it wasn't working at CES and the hardware looked good.
