OQO Model 2+ benchmarked, BenQ S6 unboxed

Oqo_benq

The OQO Model 2+ and BenQ S6 MID I've been tagged with for the MID Moves tour arrived today, just in time for my flight to Southern California this weekend.

I'll be using both gadgets almost exclusively on the tour next week and will follow-up with an overview (and most likely a full review) when I return home; posts during the tour will be a mix of micro blogs, mobile blogs, longer articles, photos, and videos about the Intel devices, their purpose and function, mobility itself, and everything in between.

All of this will be happening at MIDMoves.com, where Steve, Nicole, and Ewan will also be sharing their MID-filled journeys, so I invite you all to join us there. To get my leg of the tour started, I've run the OQO Model 2+ through a couple of benchmark tests, comparing its OLED touchscreen to the LCD touchscreen of my Willcom D4 (which may be part of the tour) in the process, and also put the BenQ S6 through the ritual unboxing ceremony. Have a look at the links below.

The pieces in her tech wardrobe that go with everything are currently the Samsung Galaxy Note II, Sony Tablet P, and Nexus 7, but there are still a couple of vintage UMPCs/MIDs in the back of her closet.
