Earlier this year, we saw the Atom-based Wibrain M1 parading through China as the EKING M1. Today, it's back with its original name and slated for release in Korea. The EKING's slightly raised chiclet keyboard has been replaced with what looks like a completely flat membrane keyboard with questionable tactile feedback, but other than that, everything looks the same as before.
AVING USA's coverage of the M1 doesn't include complete specs, listing only a 4.8-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen, 8GB/16GB SSD, up to 1GB RAM, Windows XP/Linux, mobile TV, Bluetooth, WiFi, and HSDPA. If we turn to previous information about the EKING to fill in the blanks, however, the new Wibrain can also be expected to have a 1.33GHz Atom processor, weigh 1.2 pounds, and measure 7.6" x 3.2" x 1.1". Pricing and availability are still unknown.
