Fujitsu LOOX U bumped to 2GHz Atom (U/C50N)

Fujitsu_looxu_2ghz

Japan's Fujitsu LOOX U series, international brethren of the LifeBook U820 and U2010, has just welcomed a new model to its family of Atom-based mini convertibles running Windows XP. Usurping the U/C40N's former title of being the fastest LOOX U with its 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, the new U/C50N is also the first UMPC on the market to sport the recently announced 2.0GHz Atom Z550.

Custom configurations of the LOOX U can be outfitted with the new CPU through Fujitsu Japan's online Web Mart; jkkmobile also mentions that the super-spec'd device is available from Conics.

Who else thinks it won't be long before a 2GHz option appears for the Sony Vaio P and maybe some Kohjinsha models?
