3G Viliv S5 now available in China

3g_viliv_s5_china

If you don't feel confident enough to take on the DIY 3G hack and can't wait for the proper release of the Air version of the Viliv S5 Premium, then consider the next best thing: move to China and take your pick of one of the three 3G-flavored S5 MIDs now on sale there. Choose between the WCDMA (China Unicom), EVDO (China Telecom), and TD-SCDMA (China Mobile) models, all priced at 5980 yuan (~$875) and equipped with a 32GB SSD, 1.33GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Then again, you could also just stay where you are and wait for the Premium Air to come to you.
