SmartQ 7 Internet Tablet MID revealed

Smartq7

The SmartQ 5 MID that never interested me enough to write about has just gotten itself a bigger, better-looking sibling.

The newly unveiled SmartQ 7 (or SmartQ7 or Smart Q7; there's no consistency!) earns its name from the 7-inch WVGA touchscreen making up most of the curvaceous device. A 4500mAh li-polymer battery promises to deliver up to 48 hours of music playback, while the built-in stand, stereo speakers, a USB 2.0 host port for connecting peripherals, and of course WiFi connectivity make the Linux-based gadget a versatile and potentially very capable Internet Tablet and MID.

No word on price or availability outside of China at the moment, but I think this one looks pretty ripe for importing.
