3G Viliv S5 MID with SSD starting at $799

Dynamism isn't using the "Air" moniker often associated with the 3G/SSD version of the Viliv S5 Premium MID, but that doesn't mean they're not expecting a shipment of the HSPA-equipped units. Though delivery dates have yet to be finalized, the email I received this morning makes it clear that pricing has already been set in anticipation of the shipment's arrival.

The entry-level 3G model, which boasts a 32GB SSD in addition to the standard S5 specs (1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520, 1GB RAM, Windows XP, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth), will cost $799; an extra $500 is required to increase the SSD capacity to 128GB. $1299 is a bit steep considering the SSD and 3G hacks, but $799 is only $200 more than the original non-3G/HDD configuration, which is a fairly reasonable fee for all the upgrades without any of the DIY work.
