ITG xpPhone receives certification in anticipation of release

The last time we saw the ITG xpPhone, it was being shown at the IIC-China Expo in Shenzhen alongside other Windows Embedded products. Since then, the AMD-powered UMPC/phone hybrid has applied for 14 domestic and foreign patents, obtained a network access license from the China Industry Department of Industrial Information, and received European CE, Global CB, China Quality Certification Center, and Quality Management System ISO9001:2008 certifications.

In celebration of these advances and because the xpPhone will be released in China "very soon," the company sent me a new batch of live photos and updated press shots this morning. Check them out below.
