HTC EVO 4G final ROM now available to the world

Evo_rom_leak If it's true that what's on the inside is what counts, then I guess we all love the HTC EVO 4G for its Sense-laden Android 2.1 build and not its sexy hardware.

That's probably why an early user of the handset extracted the ROM preloaded onto shipping units and made it available for anyone without an EVO to download.

Which device this ROM would work best on and whether it's worth rooting your current Android phone for is up to you, but I'm sure many people would love to see it up and running on the HTC HD2, which currently runs Windows Mobile 6.5. I would actually rather have a port of Windows Phone 7 on my HD2, personally, as I don't need to two cosmetically similar devices with identical ROMs, but that's just me.
