Inkia inPad 701 and inPad 702 Android tablets bring familiar looks

If the Inkia branding on this pair of new Android tablets (click image for larger version) sounds vaguely familiar, that's because the company is not a newcomer to the MID arena. Last year, they teased us with their 5-inch mini-slate that later became known as the MID500 that was briefly carried by Dynamism. Now it looks like Inkia has the Atom bug out of its system and is concentrating on the Android side of things with the inPad 701 and inPad 702 tablets.

Both new 7-inch devices are hiding behind some very thin details right now, but it appears that the inPad 701 will come in your choice of colors as long as it's white, and it actually looks very similar to the Aigo 7007 MID that we saw last week, minus a few buttons. Internals are mostly unknown except for the Rockchip RK2808 and 800 x 480 TFT LCD, while it will more than likely run Android 1.5 or 1.6 if things remain par for the course with this new wave of inexpensive Chinese tablets.

As for the inPad 702, which will offer integrated 3G, do I really need to say what it resembles? Not only has it adopted a demo screen definitely not approved by James Cameron, but the design will have Apple's lawyers falling over each other at US Customs as they wait for these to arrive. Needless to say, the inPad 702 will probably remain China-bound only.
