Dell Streak size comparisons
If you're a regular reader of Pocketables, my general mobile computing device website, then you know how much I enjoy doing size comparisons. I like rounding up a bunch of my gadgets and some other objects to put a particular device's size into some real-world context that is often more helpful than just looking at dimensions.
So of course I had to give my new Dell Streak the full size comparison treatment almost as soon as I got it out of the box. If you want to see the Streak hamming it up with phones like the HTC EVO 4G and the iPhone 3GS, small Android tablets like the Archos 5IT, mini notebook computers like the Sony Vaio P and Fujitsu LifeBook UH900, as well as lots of other stuff, then have a look below.
The Streak is basically what I consider to be the Archos 5IT done right, so let's start with that.
And since the Streak is a phone, here it is with some of its own kind:
Left to right and bottom to top: Streak, HTC EVO 4G, HTC HD2, iPhone 3GS.
That's the Nokia N900 on the right.
Although the Streak may seem like the first 5" phone, it's not. The HTC Advantage (below) wore that crown a few years ago.
Here's the Streak with some other small-screened devices, mostly UMPCs and MIDs.
Sony PSP & PSP Go
Sharp NetWalker PC-T1 & PC-Z1
UMID mbook BZ & mbook M1
Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 & Sony Vaio P
Sharp/Willcom D4 & Sony Vaio UX
And finally, this is the Streak hanging out with some fairly common and hopefully more relatable items.
