How to create QR codes that can be scanned with your HTC EVO

Qr-code-ccUsing your HTC EVO to scan QR codes is fun, sure, but what happens when you can't find any more codes containing all of that "secret" information?

You start making your own QR codes, of course!

And it couldn't be any simpler:

  1. Go to qrcode.kaywa.com or zxing.appspot.com/generator. There are other QR code generators available online, but these are two of the most popular ones.
  2. Fill in the required fields for the type of code you want to create and choose what size you want the final product to be.
  3. Click the "Generate" button.

You can do just about anything with your generated QR code. Right-click the image to save it to your computer so you can email it, upload it to your blog or social networking account, create posters, print it on a T-shirt, or use it as an edible cupcake topper.
