How to view all your HTC EVO home screens at once

Evo-home-screen-tileIf you haven't disabled Sense on your HTC EVO 4G, then you may be a little annoyed that the seven home screens need to be accessed chronologically (forward or backward). They don't loop either, so if you're on the last screen on the right and want to get to the last screen on the left, you need to do a lot of swiping. Sure, you can press the Home button to get to your main screen and start swiping from there, but it can still be a nuisance.

HTC must've thought so too because a few months before the EVO was released, the company updated Sense and added a new feature called Leap.

Leap lets you view all of your home screens at once and then tap on any one to "leap" to that screen.

There are two ways to access Leap on your HTC EVO:

  1. From the main home screen, tap the Home button. From any other home screen, tap the Home button twice.
  2. From any home screen, use your thumb and index finger to make a pinch gesture in the middle of the screen.

Now you don't have to pay attention to that little slider above the dock to figure out which screen you're on.
