HTC Sync update for HTC EVO 4G now available

Evo-sync-update

With news of the HTC EVO 4G's poor battery life (before applying some of G&E's EVO battery tips, of course!), improperly grounded touchscreen, screen separation issues, and 30fps cap on 2D/3D apps running rampant on the internet lately, you'd think that the phone's first update would be a little more thrilling than something for HTC Sync.

But that's what it is. A vague update (no change log or release notes) for HTC Sync to version 2.0.40 was just released for the EVO and can now be downloaded from HTC's product support page assuming you're running XP, Vista, or Windows 7 on your computer.

Let's hope the EVO's second update addresses some of the things that users are actually having trouble with, okay, HTC? Better yet, give us some Froyo!
