Dell confirms “big news” about Streak coming next week

While the Dell Streak itself may not actually go on sale or start shipping in the US next week, a tweet from DellCares (the company's customer/tech support account) posted yesterday makes it crystal clear that at the very least, "big news" for US customers is coming then.

Whether this has anything to do with the secret kiosk being built at AT&T is unknown, but it certainly gives some credence to the July 19th rumors and makes the wait to find out more about the "final hardware" much more bearable.

If you've been having second thoughts about the Streak, will news about the release (possibly as early as Monday) keep you from giving up on the device? If you were thinking of buying the Samsung Captivate tomorrow—many of you said you were—will you now wait until after the Streak announcement to decide what to do?
